Press conference of 25 June 2018

On Monday 25 June 2018, at 13.00, at the Holy See Press Office, Via della Conciliazione 54, a press conference will be held for the presentation of the 15th General Assembly of the Pontifical Academy for Life (PAL) on the theme “Equal beginnings. But then? A global responsibility”, which will take place in the Vatican, in the New Synod Hall, from 25 to 27 June 2018.

The panel will be composed of:

- H.E. Msgr. Vincenzo Paglia, president of the Pontifical Academy for Life;

- Msgr. Renzo Pegoraro, chancellor of the same Pontifical Academy;

- Sandra Azab, specialist in International Health, Saint Joseph Institute, Egypt.

Press conference of 26 June 2018

On Tuesday 26 June 2018, at 12.15, at the Holy See Press Office, Via della Conciliazione 54, a press conference will be held for the presentation of the International Conference Saving our Common Home and the Future of Life on Earth, on the third anniversary of the Holy Father Francis’ Encyclical Laudato si’, to take place in the Vatican in the New Synod Hall, from 5 to 6 July 2018.

The speakers will be:

- His Eminence Cardinal Peter Kodwo Appiah Turkson, prefect of the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development;

- Dr. Flaminia Giovanelli, under secretary of the same dicastery.

At the end of the Press Conference Tomás Insúa, executive director of the Global Catholic Climate Movement, partner in the organization of the International Conference, and other representatives of the GCCM, will be available to answer questions.
