The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the diocese of Maldonado-Punta del Este, Uruguay, presented by H.E. Msgr. Rodolfo Pedro Wirz Kraemer.
The Pope has appointed as bishop of the diocese of Maldonado-Punta del Este, Uruguay, H.E. Msgr. Milton Luis Tróccoli Cebedio, transferring him from the titular see of Munaziana and from the office of auxiliary of Montevideo.
H.E. Msgr. Milton Luis Tróccoli Cebedio
H.E. Msgr. Milton Luis Tróccoli Cebedio was born in Montevideo on 3 March 1964. He carried out his philosophical and theological studies in the major seminary of Montevideo, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree. At the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome he obtained a licentiate in spiritual theology in 1995. He was ordained a priest on 8 May 1988 in Florida, by the Holy Father John Paul II. He was parish priest of Nuestra Señora de Pompeya, of Nuestra Señora de la Merced, professor of spiritual theology at the Msgr. Mariano Soler Faculty of Theology, rector of the interdiocesan seminary of Uruguay, episcopal vicar for pastoral ministry and vicar for vocational ministry. On 27 November 2009 he was appointed as auxiliary bishop of Montevideo and was consecrated on 20 December. He is secretary general of the episcopal conference of Uruguay.

The Holy Father has appointed as bishop of San Martín, Argentina, H.E. Msgr. Miguel Ángel D’Annibale, currently bishop of Río Gallegos.
H.E. Msgr. Miguel Ángel D’Annibale
H.E. Msgr. Miguel Ángel D’Annibale was born in Buenos Aires on 27 March 1959, attended the seminary of San Isidro, and was ordained a priest on 6 December 1985. In 1995 he obtained a licentiate in dogmatic theology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Buenos Aires. He was appointed as parish vicar of Nuestra Señora del Carmen in Benavides in 1986, and assumed the office of chancellor and secretary general of the diocese of San Isidro in 1989. In 1990, he was appointed prefect of the diocesan seminary; in 1994, parish vicar of the Cathedral of San Isidro; in 1996, notary of the diocesan court; in 1999, head of the diocesan liturgical team; and in 2001, vicar general of San Isidro. He was also a member of the Commission for the continuing formation of the clergy, collaborated in various chapels in the Delta area, and was parish administrator in the parishes of Santa Rita, Nuestra Señora de Carupá, Niño Jesús de Praga and San Juan Bautista. From 1994 to 2001 he served as assistant of the diocesan team for social communication. He was president of the Argentine Society of Liturgy (S.A.L.), professor of liturgy and catechesis in schools and centres for liturgical formation and at ITEPAL (Instituto Teológico Pastoral para América Latina), and has collaborated with CELAM in the preparation of liturgical manuals.
On 19 February 2011 he was appointed as titular bishop of Nasai and auxiliary of Río Gallegos, receiving episcopal ordination on the following 29 April.
On 21 February 2013 he took office as bishop of Río Gallegos.
Within the Episcopal Conference of Argentina he is president of the Commission for the Liturgy.
