Ordinary Public Consistory for the creation of new Cardinals

On Thursday 28 June 2018, at 16.00 in the Vatican Basilica, the Holy Father Francis will hold an Ordinary Public Consistory for the creation of new cardinals, for the imposition of the berretta, the consignment of the ring and the assignment of the Title or Diaconate.

The courtesy visits to the new cardinals will take place on Thursday 28 June, from 18.00 to 20.00.

Solemnity of the Saints Apostles Peter and Paul

On Friday 29 June 2018, at 9.30 in Saint Peter’s Square, the Holy Father will bless the sacred pallia destined for the new metropolitan archbishops, and will celebrate Holy Mass of the Solemnity of the Saints Apostles Peter and Paul.
