At 12.15 today, in the Holy See Press Office, Via della Conciliazione 54, a press conference will be held to present the Apostolic Exhortation of the Holy Father Francis, “Gaudete et Exsultate”, on the call to holiness in today’s world (http://w2.vatican.va/content/francesco/en/apost_exhortations/documents/papa-francesco_esortazione-ap_20180319_gaudete-et-exsultate.html).
The speakers were H.E. Msgr. Angelo De Donatis, vicar general of His Holiness for the diocese of Rome; Gianni Valente, journalist; and Paola Bignardi of Catholic Action.
At the end of the press conference, four people of different nationalities and cultures – who have previously read the Apostolic Exhortation – will be available to journalists to express and share their impressions.
- Adam Hincks, S.J., deacon from Canada, astrophysicist;
- Veronica Polacco, Italian director, former actor, recently converted to Catholicism;
- Mohammad Jawad Haidari, Afghan refugee, Muslim. He has completed a Master’s degree on “Religion and Cultural Mediation” at La Sapienza University of Rome;
- Sister Josepha, French, religious sister of the Monastic Fraternities of Jerusalem.
