The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the diocese of Beja, Portugal, presented by Bishop António Vitalino Fernandes Dantas, O. Carm. He is succeeded by Bishop José dos Santos Marcos, co-adjutor of the same diocese.
