- Archbishop Gabriel Thohey Mahn-Gaby, emeritus of Yangon, Myanmar, on 5 May at the age of 88;
- Bishop Gonzalo López Marañon, vicar apostolic emeritus of San Miguel de Sucumbíos, Ecuador, on 7 May at the age of 82;
- Bishop Giovanni Migliorati, M.C.C.I., vicar apostolic of Awasa, Ethiopia, on 12 May at the age of 73;
