Vatican City, 30 April 2016 – A letter was published today, written in Latin and dated 19 April, in which Pope Francis appoints Cardinal Secretary of State Pietro Parolin as papal legate at the National Congress of Lithuania on Mercy, to be held in Vilnius from 6 to 9 May 2016.

The mission accompanying the cardinal will be composed of Msgr. Kestutis Latoza, parish priest of St. Teresa, and rector of the shrine of the Virgin Mary, Mother of Mercy in Vilnius, and by Rev. Fr. Andzej Suskevic, vice-rector of the St. Joseph major seminary of Vilnius.
