Vatican City, 10 March 2016 – The Holy Father has appointed Cardinal Rainer Maria Woelki, archbishop of Cologne, Germany, as his special envoy in Luxembourg for the closing of the Octave of Our Lady, Consoler of the Afflicted, on the 350th anniversary of her election as Patroness of the City of Luxembourg, to take place on 1 May 2016.
