Chapter 134
1
1 A song of ascents. 2 Come,
bless the LORD, all you servants of the LORD Who stand in the house of the LORD
through the long hours of night.

Lift up your hands toward the sanctuary, and
bless the LORD.
3
May the LORD who made heaven and earth bless
you from Zion.
1 [Psalm 134] A brief liturgy
exhorting the temple singers to acknowledge the great deeds of God at a night
service (cf ⇒ Isaiah 30:29). Mount Zion is the
place from which blessings affect the lives of humans, for there Israel's God
dwells.
