La Commissione Bilaterale Permanente di Lavoro tra la Santa Sede e lo Stato di Israele si è riunita oggi, 13 giugno 2017, in sessione Plenaria, in Vaticano, per continuare i negoziati in base all’Articolo 10 §2 del "Fundamental Agreement" tra la Santa Sede e lo Stato di Israele del 1993.
L’incontro è stato presieduto da Mons. Antoine Camilleri, Sotto-Segretario per i Rapporti con gli Stati, e dal Sig. Tzachi Hanegbi, Ministro della Cooperazione Regionale dello Stato di Israele.
La Sessione Plenaria si è compiaciuta dei progressi compiuti dalla Commissione di lavoro riguardante i negoziati che si sono svolti in un’atmosfera cordiale. I risultati della Plenaria odierna offrono speranze per una rapida conclusione delle negoziazioni in corso e per la firma del documento. La Plenaria riconosce, inoltre, gli sforzi di collaborazione da entrambi le parti riguardo l’applicazione dell’Accordo Bilaterale del 1997 sulla Personalità Giuridica.

The Bilateral Permanent Working Commission between the Holy See and the State of Israel met today, 13th June 2017, in Vatican City, at the Plenary level, to continue negotiations pursuant to the Fundamental Agreement between the Holy See and the State of Israel of 1993, Art. 10 paragraph 2.
The meeting was headed by Msgr. Antoine Camilleri, Undersecretary for the Holy See's Relations with States, and by Mr. Tzachi Hanegbi, Minister for Regional Cooperation of the State of Israel.
The Plenary was pleased with the progress accomplished at the working level regarding the negotiations, and the cordial atmosphere in which the meetings took place. The outcomes of today’s Plenary give hope for a rapid conclusion of ongoing negotiations and the signing of the document. The Plenary further acknowledges the collaborative efforts of both sides for the implementation of the 1997 Bilateral Legal Personality Agreement.
