The Bilateral Permanent Working Commission between the Holy See and the State of Israel met this morning, 18 February 2009, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to continue negotiations on the "Economic Agreement" concerning fiscal and property matters.
The meeting was characterized by great cordiality and a spirit of cooperation.
Progress was achieved, and the Delegations renewed their joint commitment to conclude the Agreement as soon as possible.
The next meeting of this working-level Commission will take place on 7 April 2009.

La Commissione bilaterale permanente di lavoro tra la Santa Sede e lo Stato d’Israele si è riunita questa mattina, 18 febbraio 2009, presso il Ministero degli Affari Esteri, per proseguire i negoziati sull’ "Accordo economico", riguardante questioni fiscali e di proprietà.
L’incontro è stato caratterizzato da grande cordialità e spirito di collaborazione.
Sono stati compiuti dei progressi e le Delegazioni hanno rinnovato il loro comune impegno a concludere l’Accordo il prima possibile.
Il prossimo incontro di questa Commissione di lavoro si terrà il 7 aprile 2009.
