Following the customary consultation of the College of Cardinals, the Holy Father Francis has decided to proceed with the canonization of Blessed Antonia of Saint Joseph (née María Antonia Da Paz y Figueroa), known as Mama Antula, founder of the House for Spiritual Exercises of Buenos Aires, born in 1730 in Silipica, Santiago del Estero, Argentina, and died on 7 March 1799 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

His Holiness has determined that the Rite of Canonization will be held on 11 February 2024, VI Sunday of Ordinary Time, and anniversary of the first apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Lourdes.
