Appointment of special envoy to the celebrations of the 1050^th anniversary of the death of Saint Ulrich, patron of the diocese of Augsburg, and the 110^th of his episcopal consecration, Germany

The Holy Father has appointed His Eminence Cardinal Christophe Schönborn, O.P., archbishop of Vienna, as his special envoy to the ceremony to take place in the Cathedral of Augsburg, Germany, on 28 December 2023, on the occasion of the “double jubilee” to be celebrated in the diocese in honour of Saint Ulrich: the 1050^th anniversary of his death and the 110^0th of his episcopal consecration.
