This morning, at 10.40 (11.40 in Rome), the Holy Father Francis will meet with the young people of Scholas Occurrentes at the centre in Cascais.

After the welcome greeting from the President of Scholas Occurrentes, the testimonies of three young people belonging to different religious, and the presentation of a 3km artistic banner and the signing, the Pope will give an impromptu greeting to those present.

At the end, after the recitation of the Lord’s Prayer and the final blessing, the Holy Father, along with the religious leaders present, before leaving the premises of Scholas Occurentes, will witness the planting of the olive tree of peace by the young people. He will then return by car to the Apostolic Nunciature in Lisbon where will lunch in private.
