Appointment of consulters of the Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts with special competence for the Law of the Latin Church and the Law of the Oriental Churches

The Holy Father has appointed as consultors of the Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts with special competence for the Law of the Latin Church and the Law of the Oriental Churches the Reverend David Cito, lecturer in penal canon law at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross; the Reverend Fathers: Andrea D’Auria, F.S.C.B., lecturer in canon law at the Pontifical Urban University; Bruno Esposito, O.P., referendary of the Supreme Court of the Apostolic Signatura and judge of the Ecclesiastical Tribunal of the Vicariate of Vatican City; Sebastiano Paciolla, O. Cist., promotor of justice at the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic SIgnatura; Ulrich Rhode, S.J., lecturer in canon law at the Pontifical Gregorian University; and the Distinguished Professor Vincenzo Buonomo, Magnificent Rector of the Pontifical Lateran University.

His Holiness has also appointed as consulters of the same Pontifical Council with special competence for the law of the Oriental Churches: Archbishop Elie Béchara Haddad, of Saïdā of the Greek Melkites; Bishop Hanna G. Alwan, titular of Sarepta and bishop of the Curia of Antioch of the Maronites; and the Reverend Msgr. Paul Pallath, relator of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints.
