At 9.00 this morning, in Redemptoris Mater Chapel, the Preacher of the Papal Household Fr. Raniero Cantalamessa, O.F.M. Cap., held the second Sermon of Lent, entitled “Mary during the public life of Jesus”, recorded due to the health emergency.

The theme of the Lenten meditations is the following: “Near the cross of Jesus stood His mother” (John 19: 25), Mary in the Paschal mystery of Christ.

The next Sermon of Lent will be held on Friday 27 March and Friday 3 April.
