Farewell ceremony at Tokyo Airport

This morning, at Tokyo-Haneda Airport, the farewell ceremony from Japan took place in Tokyo-Haneda Airport. Upon leaving the VIP Room, the Holy Father greeted the bishops of Japan and the delegations. He then departed on board an All Nippon Airways 8787-9 to return to Italy.

The aircraft carrying the Holy Father on the return trip from his apostolic journey in Thailand and Japan departed from Tokyo-Haneda Airport at 11.43 local time (3.43 in Rome) and is expected to arrive at Rome-Fiumicino Airport at 17.05.
