- Prelates of the Episcopal Conference of New Zealand, on their “ad limina Apostolorum” visit:

  - His Eminence Cardinal John Atcherley Dew, archbishop of Wellington;

  - Bishop Patrick James Dunn of Auckland;

  - Bishop Paul Martin of Christchurch;

  - Bishop Michael Joseph Dooley of Dunedin;

- Today the Pope will receive in audience:

- His Eminence Cardinal Stanislaw Ryłko, archpriest of the Papal Basilica of Saint Mary Major;

- Representatives of the Abrahamic religions for the signing of Joint Declaration on some issues related to end of life and the promotion of palliative care.
