Resignation of metropolitan archbishop of Hà Nôi and appointment of successor

The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the archdiocese of Hà Nôi, Vietnam, presented by His Eminence Cardinal Peter Nguyên Vãn Nhon.

The Pope has appointed as archbishop of the same metropolitan see of Hà Nôi H.E. Msgr. Joseph Vu Vãn Thiên, currently bishop of Hai Phòng.
