The Holy Father Francis has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the diocese of Kavieng, Papua New Guinea, presented by H.E. Msgr. Ambrose Kiapseni, M.S.C.

The Pope has appointed as bishop of Kavieng, Papua New Guinea, H.E. Msgr. Rochus Josef Tatamai, M.S.C., currently bishop of Bereina.
