Appointment of coadjutor bishop prelate of the territorial prelature of Humahuaca, Argentina

The Holy Father has appointed Rev. Fr. Florencio Félix Paredes Cruz, C.R.L., as coadjutor bishop prelate of the territorial prelature of Humahuaca, Argentina, until now Parish priest of the parish Nuestra Señora de Belén in the same ecclesiastical circumscription.

Rev. Fr. Florencio Félix Paredes Cruz, C.R.L.

Rev. Fr. Florencio Félix Paredes Cruz, C.R.L., was born on 28 October 1961 in Selochea, Bolivia. He carried out his primary studies in La Quiaca, Jujuy Province, Argentina, and his secondary studies in Jujuy. He completed his ecclesiastical studies in the CEFITEQ belonging to the diocese of Quilmes and in the ISET of the Salesians in Buenos Aires. He was ordained a priest on 1 February 1995, incardinated in the Congregation of the Canons Regular of the Lateran.

He has served as vicar in parishes of the archdiocese of Salta, Rosario and Buenos Aires and in the diocese of Jujuy; parish administrator of Nuestra Señora de la Medalla Milagrosa, member of the Presbyteral Council of the archdiocese of Salta, and master of novices and provincial of the Argentine Province of the Canons Regular of the Lateran for two periods.

He is currently pastor of the parish Nuestra Señora de Belén in the prelature of Humahuaca.

 

Appointment of judges of the Court of Appeals of Vatican City State

The Pope has appointed the Rev. Msgr. Vito Angelo Todisco and the Rev. Msgr. Pietro Milite, currently prelate auditors of the Roman Rota, as judges of the Court of Appeals of Vatican City State.
