Pastoral visit of the Holy Father Francis to the diocese of Bologna, 1 October 2017, 13.04.2017
The Holy Father Francis, accepting the invitation from His Excellency Msgr. Douglas Regattieri, bishop of Cesena-Sarsina, will visit Cesena to commemorate the third centenary of the birth of Pope Pius VI.
In addition, in response to the invitation of His Excellency Msgr. Matteo Maria Zuppi, archbishop of Bologna, on the occasion of the Diocesan Eucharistic Congress, the Holy Father will pay a pastoral visit to the diocese of Bologna.
