The Holy Father has appointed Cardinal Agostino Vallini, archpriest of the Papal Basilica of St. John Lateran, as his legate to preside at the rite for the closure of the Holy Door of the same Basilica, to take place during the liturgy of Sunday 13 November 2016.

He has also appointed Cardinal Santos Abril y Castelló, archpriest of the Papal Basilica of St. Mary Major, as his legate to preside at the rite for the closure of the Holy Door of the same Basilica, to take place during the liturgy of Sunday 13 November 2016.

Likewise, he has appointed Cardinal James Michael Harvey, archpriest of the Papal Basilica of St. Paul Outside-the-Walls, as his legate to preside at the rite for the closure of the Holy Door of the same Basilica, to take place during the liturgy of Sunday 13 November 2016.
